Harvard University's Radcliffe Choral Society, the all-female counterpart to the
Harvard Glee Club, will be making a concert stop in Knoxville on its 8-day undergraduate Appalachian Spring Tour. The free concert will be on Tuesday, March 24th at 8pm in the James R. Cox Auditorium on the UT campus.

"The Radcliffe Choral Society, founded in 1899, is one of the most preeminent collegiate women's choirs in the nation. Performing distinctive literature from the Renaissance to the present, this 65-voice choir tours each year across the country."
The concert will include works by Palestrina, Monteverdi, Schumann and Holst. 'Cliffe Notes, a group within the Choral Society, will be showcasing original arrangements of today's popular music. The featured conductors will be Jameson Marvin, who conducts the Holden Choruses, consisting of the Radcliffe Choral Society, the Harvard Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, and the Harvard Glee Club; and Beth Willer, assistant conductor of the Radcliffe Choral Society.
