Located in the former limestone quarry of Draggängarna in the county of Dalarna in central Sweden, 280 km from Stockholm, Dalhalla presents a summer season of 30 or so events, including an opera season, classical music, jazz, and rock. Road trip! Apparently, the acoustics are so good in the natural amphitheater that concertgoers are urged to watch their conversations.
