KSO Season Opens Next Thursday

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra's 2009-2010 season opens next week with two concerts, Thursday and Friday, September 24 and 25.  These opening gala concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Tennessee Theatre.

The concerts will feature:

The American Scene: The South by William Grant Still
Suite from The Reivers by John Williams
Knoxville: Summer of 1915 by Samuel Barber
Pictures at an Exhibition of Mussorgsky/Ravel
