Felici Piano Trio at UT Music Hall on Tuesday

The Felici Piano Trio, consisting of Belgium pianist Steven Vanhauwaert, German violinist Rebecca Hang, and American cellist Brian Schuldt, will perform a concert at the UT Music Hall on Tuesday, October 20th at 8:00 p.m.  The concert is free.

The trio is in residence in Mammoth Lakes, CA, as part of the Chamber Music America Rural Residencies Program, and they are a California Arts Council Touring Roster Ensemble.

Hang and Schuldt received their Bachelor and Masters of Music at Indiana University. Vanhauwaert studied piano at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels and was the Grand Prize Winner of the 2004 Los Angeles International Liszt Competition.  This prize enabled him to tour throughout the U.S. and Hungary.

Felici has recorded several  CDs: Chamber Music of Women Composers; Tchaikovsky's Trio in A Minor; a 2004 live recording of Beethoven's "Ghost" Trio and the Brahms Trio, op. 87; and Ravel's Piano Trio and Saint Saens Piano Trio.
