Next Week's KSO Concert: Stravinsky's Petrushka

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will offer its October Masterworks concert next week, October 22 and 23 at the Tennessee Theatre at its usual time of 8 p.m.  On the bill will be:

•  A work by Maestro Lucas Richman, Overture to Blanche, an expansion of incidental music he wrote for A Streetcar Named Desire.
•  Antonin Dvořák's symphonic poem, The Golden Spinning Wheel, Op. 109
•  Igor Stravinsky's 1947 version of Petrushka,  a 1911 ballet for Serge Diaghilev's Ballets Russes.
