UT Symphony on Sunday: "Music of Great Britain"

The University of Tennessee Symphony Orchestra returns to the James R. Cox Auditorium on the UT Campus on Sunday, November 1, for its second concert of the 2009-10 season:  Music of Great Britain The concert begins at 4:00 p.m. and is free.

The concert will feature:
  • Four Scottish Dances by Malcolm Arnold
  • Concerto for Two Violins and String Orchestra by Malcolm Arnold.  The violinists will be violin faculty members Mark Zelmanovich and Miroslav Hristov.
  • Variations on an Original Theme for Orchestra, op. 36 ("The Enigma Variations") by Edward Elgar
The UT Symphony is under the direction of Maestro James Fellenbaum.
