A Few Notes on Last Weekend's Music

Look for my review of last weekend's Knoxville Symphony Orchestra concert (Mendelssohn, Haydn, Wagner, Strauss) in this week's Metro Pulse, on the stands a day early due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Old William would have been very pleased, I'm sure, with Sounds & Sweet Airs: Shakespeare and Music, assembled by Knoxville composer James Carlson as part of the TVUUC Performing Arts and Lecture Series on Sunday. The performance was one happy surprise after another.  My commentary to come...here
