No matter which emotions you fall prey to--teary nostalgia, respect and admiration, or just love of music--this week's Knoxville Symphony Orchestra concerts will have something for you.

The concerts will honor Concertmaster Mark Zelmanovich, who is stepping down from the orchestra after this season--his 24th. Read my profile of him here.
The guest soloist will be violinist Rachel Barton Pine who will join the KSO for the Brahms Violin Concerto. Also on the program is Brahms' Tragic Overture and the Beethoven Symphony No. 4. Lucas Richman will conduct.
The concerts are Thursday and Friday evenings, 8 p.m. in the Tennessee Theatre.
