Tonight: Hristov, Jasinski, Hu Recital at UT

A UT faculty and guest artist recital in celebration of the 200th birthday of Frederic Chopin featuring Miroslav Hristov, violin; Nathan Jasinski, cello; and Chih-Long Hu, piano; is on tap for tonight, March 22, 8:00 pm, in the UT Music Hall. The recital is free.

The scheduled Chopin works are:
• A Kreisler violin/piano transcription of the Chopin Mazurka, Opus 67, No. 4
• Sonata for Cello and Piano, Op. 65
• Polanaise Brillante in C Major for Cello and Piano, Op. 3
• Trio for Violin, Cello, and Piano in G minor, Op. 8

The performers:
Nathan Jasinski is a professor of cello at Eastern Kentucky University.
Chih-Long Hu is on the piano faculty at East Tennessee State University.
Miroslav Hristov is on the violin faculty of the University of Tennessee School of Music.
