KSO Begins Its 75th Season

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, a rather young looking 75 years old, opens its 2010-2011 season on Thursday and Friday evenings this week at 7:00 pm in the Tennessee Theatre. The first concert, as I have previously mentioned, is an all-Tchaikovsky program featuring the Coronation Overture, the Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D Major, Capriccio Italien, and Overture, 1812. Lucas Richman will conduct.

The soloist in the Violin Concerto will be Dylana Jenson.
