At 2:30 p.m. at the Bijou, the Knoxville Symphony Chamber Orchestra offers "Opera Highlights," a program of overtures and arias from operas by Mozart, Rossini, Arthur Sullivan, and Paisello. Tickets and info.

At 4:00 p.m. in the Cox Auditorium on the UT Campus, the UT Symphony offers its "Concertos and Classics" concert featuring the winners of the UT School of Music's annual Concerto Competition. FREE

Jesse Stock, baritone will sing Maurice Ravel's Don Quichotte a Dulcinee;  William Crowe, piano, will perform George Gershwin's Variations on "I Got Rhythm;"  Hallerin Hill, II, violin and Wes Charlton, viola, will play the second movement of Wolfgang Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante;  and Travis Jones and Rachael Morey, bassoons, will perform the third movement of August Ritter's Sinfonie Concertante.
