The Metropolitan Opera is offering a summer schedule of HD encore performances. Tonight at the Regal WestTown Cinemas is Donizetti's comedy, "The Daughter of the Regiment." The showtime is 6:30 p.m.

Laurent Pelly's hilarious production stars two of the greatest bel canto singers. Natalie Dessay is the tomboy of the title and Juan Diego Flórez plays the man in love with her, tossing off nine high Cs in his famous aria. Legendary actress Marian Seldes makes a special appearance as the Duchess of Krakenthorp and Marco Armiliato conducts.
