The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra opens its 2011-12 season with an all-Beethoven concert under the direction of KSO music director (and Grammy winner) Lucas Richman.
The pianist Alon Goldstein joins the orchestra for Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3.
Also on the program is the Symphony No. 3 "Eroica" and the Coriolan Overture.

Note: the opening concerts on Thursday and Friday start at 7 p.m. to accommodate opening night festivities.
