KSO's Thomas and Whaley Win Their Chairs

Flutist Ebonee Thomas and hornist Jeffery Whaley have been interim principals of their sections in this past season for the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. But they aren't interim any more.

Both Thomas and Whaley won the permanent principal positions in auditions that were held this month and last. Whaley had replaced Calvin Smith who passed away at the end of the 2010-11 season; Thomas replaced Nadine Hur.
