Wednesday: Pianist Nicholas Ross at UT

Pianist Nick Ross, Associate Professor of Music and Director of Keyboard Studies at Otterbein University, joins UT faculty cellist Wesley Baldwin for a joint recital on Wednesday evening in works by Bach and Chopin.

Baldwin will perform the Sonata in G minor, Op. 65, by Chopin, one of the few non-piano works Chopin wrote. He will open the J.S. Bach's Suite No. 6 in D Major for unaccompanied cello.

Together, they will perform Chopin's Grand Duo Concertant (Sur des thémes de "Robert le Diable") and the Polonaise Brillante, Opus 3.

The free recital is at 8 p.m. in Performance Hall 32 of the Alumni Memorial Building on the UT Campus.
