Wednesday: Jazz Lunch at the Square Room

The New Year 2013 gets off to a great start with January's session of Jazz Lunch at the Square Room, a continuing noontime event on the first Wednesday of each month. This Wednesday's concert features trumpeter Thomas Heflin in a "Tribute to Freddie Hubbard".  Heflin will be joined by William Boyd (tenor saxophone), Gabe Osborne (trombone), Keith Brown (piano), Clint Mullican (bass), and Kenneth Brown (drums).

For more information on the music and artists, check out the Spotlight in last week's Metro Pulse, online here.

Jazz Lunch at the Square Room is a partnership between the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra, the Square Room, and WUOT 91.9FM. The noon to 1pm concerts are $15 and include a lunch buffet from Café 4. Tickets are available online at http://www.knoxjazz.org or by visiting Café 4 in person prior to the show.
