KSO Announces MLK Concert Details

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra has announced details of its "Concert in Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr." on Monday, January 21 at 6:00 PM at the Tennessee Theatre. The concert is co-sponsored by the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission of Greater Knoxville and Knox County Commissioner Amy Broyles. 

The free concert will feature the Knoxville Symphony Chamber Orchestra, James Fellenbaum conducting, and the Celebration Choir directed by Aaron Staple. The bill will include traditional symphonic works and gospel music. Knoxville radio's Hallerin Hilton Hill will narrate Aaron Copland's Lincoln Portrait.
