Here are a few of the music events for the week you might want to put on your calendar.

Tuesday, February 12
• 7 pm - Music for Earthworms at the University Center Auditorium. Work for six bassoons by Dan Whelcher. Free
• 7:30 pm - Shen Yun at the Tennessee Theatre $
• 8 pm - Choral concert by UT School of Music choral music ensembles. Cox Auditorium on the UT Campus. Free

Wednesday, February 13
• 7:30 pm - Shen Yun at the Tennessee Theatre $

Thursday, February 14
• (don't forget to send your favorite music writer an expensive box of dark chocolates)

Friday, February 15
• 8 pm - UT Symphony Orchestra Concert featuring the David Ott Double Cello Concerto with Wesley Baldwin and Carter Enyeart, soloists (part of the Tennessee Cello Workshop) Cox Auditorium, Free

Saturday, February 16
• 6 pm - Tennessee Cello Workshop, Faculty recital
Performance Hall 32 in the Alumni Memorial Bldg.
• 8 pm - Knoxville Symphony Orchestra "Valentine's Romance" at the Tennessee Theatre $

Sunday, February 17
• 8pm - "Rachmaninoff Remembered" - an all-Rachmaninoff recital by Russian pianist Evgheny Brakhman to mark the 70th anniversary of Sergei Rachmaninoff's last public concert on this date in 1943 - an event co-sponsored by the Young Pianist Series and the UT School of Music. Cox Auditorium, Free
