Knoxville Opera Looking for Tenors!

Knoxville Opera is holding chorus auditions for tenors for its 2013-14 season. These are paid positions

The auditions will be held on July 19, 22, and 23, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Knoxville Opera  offices at 612 E. Depot Ave. (one block south of Magnolia, one block east of Hall of Fame Drive). To schedule an audition, contact the Knoxville Opera Chorusmaster, Don Townsend, at dtownsend@knoxvilleopera.com or call 865-599-7961. 

Auditioners should come with two prepared pieces in Italian and/or French along with a resume indicating musical training and performance history. An accompanist will be provided.
 
The KO 2013-14 season begins in October with Jacques Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffmann, followed in February by Donizetti's The Elixir of Love, and in April by Bellini's Norma. Choristers are engaged one opera at a time and are not required to participate in all productions.
