Casting Call: Marble City Opera

This time of year, the bulletin board at the Classical Cafe starts to fill up. Below is a notable announcement that recently arrived that deserves your attention--for Marble City Opera. That Knoxville-based organization, if you recall, was born last May with a production of The Face on the Barroom Floor. Kathryn Frady Marvel, artistic director and a co-founder along with general manager Kevin Richard Doherty, are looking ahead to productions this fall.

Calling all artists and musicians! Marble City Opera Company is hiring! We are looking for talented artists, singers, dancers and musicians to be a part of the revolutionary new Knoxville Theater Company! Kathryn and Kevin are currently setting up interviews to see what's out there. We would love to meet you. We want to create the best art in town and for that we need the best artists!
