Here's a few things to keep in mind for music this week:

In Knoxville: Marble City Opera offers David Conte's chamber opera The Gift of the Magi at Remedy Coffee, Friday through Sunday evenings (Dec 13, 14, 15) at 7:30 p.m. $15

Holiday Musicale Benefits UT Music Scholarships 
Hosted by the UT School of Music's Board of Advisers member Bill Rukeyser and his wife Elisabeth, the event will be held Sunday, Dec. 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. and will feature live performances of holiday music performed by UT Music faculty and students.
The suggested donation is $75 per person. Reservations for the Holiday Musicale are required and can be made by calling the School's business office at 865-974-7547.

The Holiday Musicale will be held at 1509 Rudder Lane, Knoxville, TN 37919. Heavy hors d'oeuvers will be served and guests are asked to wear casual or festive attire. For more information, visit:

In Oak Ridge: Oak Ridge Symphony & Chorus Concert: Holiday Celebration on Sunday, Dec 15, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. ORHS Performing Arts Center.
