2014 Mid-South Met Opera Audition Winners

The Mid-South region Metropolitan Opera audition results are in from today's competition in Memphis.

Tenor Dane Suarez, from the West Tennessee District, won the First Prize and advances to the National Semi-Finals in New York City. He also pockets a $4500 prize.

The 2nd place winner was soprano Kerriann Otaño; 3rd place went to Knoxville's Linda Barnett. An Encouragement Award went to tenor Stephen Martin who competed in the Middle/East Tennessee District.
