This Weekend: UT Opera, Mozart's 'Cosi fan Tutte'

This is a big opera weekend, what with Knoxville Opera's Rossini Festival AND UT Opera Theatre's production of Mozart's comedy Cosi fan Tutte.

UTOT's production is in the Carousel Theatre (next to the Clarence Brown Theatre), with a cast of singers split over the four performances. As has been the case in the past, expect a slightly different, if not refreshing, take on the opera's milieu from stage director James Marvel. Check out the calendar listing in this week's Metro Pulse.

Thursday evening, April 10, at 8 p.m.
Saturday afternoon, April 12 at 2:30 p.m.
Saturday evening, April 12 at 8:00 p.m.
Sunday evening, April 13, at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets: $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $5 for students. Tickets are available at  knoxvilletickets.com or 865-656-4444. Tickets are also available at the Clarence Brown Theatre Box Office 865-974-5161.
