Thurs: Doric String Quartet at UT, Free

The Doric String Quartet, formed in 1998 and consisting of members Alex Redington (violin), Jonathan Stone (violin), Hélène Clément (viola), and John Myerscough (cello), will conclude their four-day residency visit to UT's School of Music with a concert drawn from works by Haydn, Korngold, and Beethoven. Their second CD and their first on the Chandos label, The Complete Korngold String Quartets, was released in September 2010 and was featured as one of the 2010 Critic's Choice discs in Gramophone magazine.
