Fearless Foodie:

Revving Up for Raw Foods

Seems the Glowing Bowl's High Energy raw food workshop to be held Sunday (Mar. 22) from 4-6 p.m. is reaching a receptive audience. At $45 per participant, which includes the meal and recipes to take home, "the class is on the brink of totally full," says Glowing Bowl employee Jeff Scheafnocker. "Over today and tomorrow we may even have to turn a few people away."

Maybe next time--they're planning to make it an ongoing enterprise the third Sunday of the month. I can't make it this weekend, since I'm out of town for a wedding, but I still had to know what raw food dessert would consist of. That'd be coconut carob haystacks, says presenter (and Glowing Body owner) Hollis Church. I'll try to talk her out of the recipe after the class.
