Fearless Foodie:

Would That Be Grilled Broccoli?

I had no idea it was even legal to grill outside in New York, but just in time for the official kick-off of summer, our zany friends at the New York Times have come up with a few ways to keep the singeing arts healthier for consumers of the grill's bounty. It hardly seems sporting, but I guess the tips are for our own good. And I notice that they were able to work in a plug for broccoli, although they're not too specific on how you are to consume it, or how it works to counteract char. Maybe whirl some into a pre-prandial Bloody Mary before tackling a plate of triple-marinaded ribs? Hey, if they won't tell me, I am duty bound to make something up.
