Mead Me at Lake City, City

Had a great time a few days back sampling mead at Shady Grove Meadery, and wrote about it later. Not sure the guys who own the meadery quite knew how to take my "sense of humor," so do let me clarify: I really liked the laid-back, informative, no hard sell environment, and was pleasantly surprised to find out that of all of the meads made there, none was overly sweet and two were downright dry. Definitely worth a try, 'specially as they're currently featured on Half Price Depot.

One thing I'm sticking to my guns on, however: This is co-owner Johnny Cosgrove, and he so does too have "unruly hair." For photographic proof, click here:
