Fearless Foodie:

Donate Food at Rossini

Knoxville's Rossini Festival and Italian Street Fair this Saturday (Apr. 24) promises great opera and robust food--howzabout sharing while you're there? Here's the scoop from festival organizers:

This year, Knoxville Opera also proudly acts as an official drop point to Second Harvest FoodBank of East Tennessee to help eliminate hunger in our community. Each month, Second Harvest fills 155,000 requests for food assistance (up 28% from last year). Please help Knoxville Opera support our community by bringing non-perishable food items to the Street Fair or during a performance. A food collection station will be in the lobby at Tennessee Theatre during performances of The Barber of Seville on Friday the 23rd and Sunday the 25th and throughout the Street Fair on Saturday the 24th.
