The three-man El Gigante 5lb. BBQ Burrito challenge at Sweet P's BBQ at Willow Pointe Marina June 19 was not conclusive: none of the three contestants finished the burrito, 1/2 pound of mac n' cheese, and 1/2 pound of nanner pudding within the allotted 1 hour. Rock "hollywood" Hurst came closest, leaving about three bites of mac 'n cheese with a few minutes to go. If the contest sounds intriguing, Sweet P's owner Chris Ford is considering opening it up to the public. More on that as he solidifies the plans, but we know for sure anyone wanting to try would have to give the restaurant 24 hours notice.
