Fearless Foodie:

Foods in Phil's Memory

I've got a new column posted, "Foods In Phil's Memory,"  which links the sad death of Phil Pollard Oct. 29, 2011 and the good old Knoxville Actors Co-op Cabaret days, and my childhood neighborhood, Matoaka Court in Williamsburg, Va. R.I.P. Phil, and long live Mrs. McClennan's carrot cake and the fine memories Phil was such a part of.

Pics are of Phil and his drums, probably in some dreary corner of the Black Box Theater, and of Dennis Perkins and Cammie-what-is-his-last-name dancing up a storm in "Let's All Be Fairies."
