
Knoxville's own Bruce Bogartz has copped
Metro Pulse Best of Knoxville Best Chef honors a record five years in a row! Actually, the three and four years in a row were records, too! Here's a nice interview with him, if I do say so myself, in which he talks about how his chefdom resembles a Cannes film festival entry, and more importantly for us foodies, chats about some of his favorite ingredients and how he uses them.
More news: Chef Bruce is at the Market Square Farmer's Markets nowadays! On Saturdays, he'll be making up some take home dishes from farmer market produce, and also selling a sweet or savory biscuit or two. This past week, he made a hominy, chard, pork stew that was really nice. And it's fun to watch him quip and cook in person....
