Fearless Foodie:

Water Barrel Workshop on the Way!

So, this time last year I was talking to Jake Hudson about the New Harvest Park water barrel workshop provided by the Water Quality Forum and now it looks like they're at it again! Can't tell you how quickly these rain barrels fill and how helpful they are with watering gardens (never mind that my Jack Russell/chihuahua mix thinks this is a good way to water herself--that's not a good idea....) Here are the details about the June 1 event, with another to follow later in the summer if there's more interest:

Saturday, June 1st 10:00 am-12:00 noon

Location: New Harvest Park, 4775 New Harvest Lane, Knoxville, TN 37918

Price: $35/barrel

What you will learn: How to create a rain barrel out of a 55 gallon drum. Leave with a completed barrel ready to use!!

Advance registration is required! Call (865) 215-5961 to save your spot. Space is limited.
