The Bonnaroo lineup has been announced, and it's a big one: Bruce Springsteen, the reunited Phish, the Beastie Boys, Nine Inch Nails, David Byrne, Wilco, Al Green, Snoop Dogg, Elvis Costello, and Erykah Badu are among the biggest names, and you also get TV on the Radio, Merle Haggard, MGMT, Girl Talk, Bon Iver, Animal Collective, Of Montreal, Santogold, Grizzly Bear, Crystal Castles, and the Knux. As indie/pop rosters go, it's probably the best Bonnaroo schedule yet.
Among my own personal can't-waits: Snoop, Crystal Castles, Animal Collective, Alejandro Escovedo, King Sunny Ade, and Vieux Farka Toure.
Some national news on the announcement from The New York Times, and local commentary at Knox Blab.

Interesting African component to this line-up as well: Toumani Diabate (Mali), Femi Kuti (Nigeria), King Sunni Ade (Nigeria, 'Minister of Enjoyment' -- pedal steel meets West Africa), Vieux Farka Toure (Mali), etc.
