Jamaican dancehall pioneer Yellowman will drop into West Knoxville next month for a show at Purada on Kingston Pike. Yellowman's 1982 single "Zungguzungguguzungguzeng" has been sampled by KRS-One, Junior M.A.F.I.A., Tupac, and Black Star.
Show's at 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 5. Tickets are $18/$20 at the door, $25 for VIP admission.
