UPDATE! Per this, it's a Double Fine Christmas after all!
(Also, ZOMG)
Per no less a persona than an internet approximation of Mrs. Tim Schafer on KnoxBlab, The Husband and his buddy Jack Black will be adding some much-needed relevance to Spike TV's always-humdrum Video Game Awards by preempting the Best Use of Jiggle Effects award to update the public on Double Fine's next iteration of what gaming should have been doing all along.
I know where I'll be this Sunday at 9pm: trying to figure out which channel Spike TV currently occupies and working up a good head of steam for my semi-annual Lambasting of the Boss for Not Introducing Me When He Had The Chance.
Here's hoping that Double Fine has managed to dig its way out from under Activision Blizzard's demand that we boycott its products and has secured a publishing deal with a non-moronic company. And, you know, tells us about it Sunday.
