Cowboy Crazy: Marshal Andy Celebrates 25 Years on TV

Marshal Andy, Knoxville's greatest singing cowboy (never mind that he's been pretty much the only singing cowboy in Knoxville the last 30+ years), celebrates the 25th anniversary of his local TV show celebrating B Westerns and old-timey country-and-western music next weekend.

(Knoxville, Tennessee) On Saturday, March 21st at 10:30 a.m., East Tennessee Public Television (ETPtv) will air a live anniversary special for the Riders of the Silver Screen with Marshal Andy. Andy and his crew have been bringing back the feel-good western serials of the 30's and 40's, where the good guys always won the day, for 25 years.

"The show has been one of our most popular and beloved programs since it began," said Teresa James, President and General Manager for ETPtv. "Its longevity is a testament to Andy and the quality of his show."

The weekly program, Riders of the Silver Screen with Marshal Andy, airs on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. on ETPtv.
