Intrepid Metro Pulse reporters are under all sorts of stress... taunts about secretly working for the News Sentinel, hiked rates ($7 a DAY!) in the closest in-and-out parking garage to our building, an office manager who does not approve of mysterious remnants in the staff refrigerator. But our latest source is a mandate from on high (not the nosebleed seats, but...) that our jointly-staffed blog occasionally temper the up-to-the-minute analysis and investigation with stuff that is just, you know, fun.
In an attempt to keep one step ahead of what would surely be harsh reprisals, I am submitting this amusing website 'bout bunnies. The featured rabbit on March 10, Pete, has an owner/disapprover relationship with a childhood friend of mine, Susan Friend, who assumes high-level graphics duties for the twice-weekly Virginia Gazette in the old hometown of Williamsburg, Va. It (the paper, not the rabbit) survives intact around 270 years after the first published edition, four pages, went to press on Aug. 6, 1735. That would be pretty fun, too.
