We get a lot of e-mails here at MP. They usually break down thusly: 60 percent expressions of outrage, 20 percent helpful suggestions/tips, 12 percent insane, and 8 percent uncategorizable. My apologies to those worthy e-mailers who haven't gotten replies from me yet -- I'm working on it, and my sense of guilt grows daily.
Of course, when you do reply to urgent queries from strangers, the results are unpredictable: outrage can either escalate or subside. It's a roll of the dice. In the case of one Charles Maldonado, it has created online sparks between two very sarcastic individuals: they meet cute, they bicker, their gazes lock.
Where will this unlikely romance go next? Will it wither under the steely gaze of the Internet, or blossom? Stay tuned!
