If you left anything down on the 100 block of Gay Street, you better get it quick--construction's shutting down the street, starting on Monday, April 20. Construction by the city on the weird infrastructure under Gay Street between Jackson Avenue and Summit Hill started in February and is expected to last at least another year.
The block itself isn't shutting down, of course--residents, offices, and restaurants will remain open and accessible by foot.
The city's Rick Emmet and Bill Lyons are posting updates about the construction on the handy 100 Block Construction blog.
