As part of my sacred editorial duties, I will running around town on Friday publicizing our 2009 Best of Knoxville Reader's Poll. You'll be able to hear me cough on the radio and see me squint on TV!
First, I'll be dropping by the WNFZ (94.3) studios at 8 a.m. to chat with J (just J). Maybe I'll finally get to meet an "X Chick"! (Er, but are they even awake at 8 a.m.? I imagine not.)
Later, sometime after 4, I'll be on Live at Five at Four. (Hmmm... maybe they should've just renamed it "In the Flesh at Four" instead.) I wonder how I'll explain Charles Maldonado's blatant love note to Robin Wilhoit? This could be really embarrassing.
And I think I was supposed to swing by Best Radio Station WUTK, but maybe I'll force bristly A&E editor Matthew Everett to leave his dark lair and go in my place.
UPDATE: WUTK and Benny Smith (a Best Knoxvillian runner-up!) will be broadcasting from our Best of Knoxville party tonight at the Ciderhouse, starting around 7 p.m. Matthew is off the hook.
