Yesterday President Obama asked the courts to roll back a Bush-era law allowing coal mine operators to dump waste near streams. It's one of the biggest problems with mountaintop removal mining, and Obama's action goes over the head of Tennessee law-makers who can't seem to say "no" to coal.
