The Daily Pulse:

Bearden Earth Fare Grand Opening June 17

Earth Fare's Bearden satellite will throw open its doors Wednesday, tomorrow, and then people willing to schlep out to Turkey Creek will no longer be the only ones who can shop at a place where the foods don't include any (zip, nada, none) high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oils, or artificial colors. To exempt us from sounding like a testimonial, read up on what they DO have here. The ribbon cutting will be at 8 a.m., by the way, and our old friends Beardsley Community Farm will be there to celebrate, entertain, and reap (get it? farm, reap? never mind) five percent of sales made from June 17-19. I figure I'll turn up if for no other reason than to figure out how to make my own mushroom spore print. I sense the shenanigans have been planned by farm manager Ben Epperson; we'll see.
