Daily Photo is a new feature that we will boldly call "daily," and less boldly claim will always include a photo. PS: We love love love our interns, because they have helped bring this to life.

A Friend for Man's Best Friend
"They think they're getting table scraps, but they're eating healthy food," said military veteran and Knoxvillian Bill Langer, the man behind K&B Pet Treats, which can be found at the Farmer's Market in Market Square on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Langer said his homemade treats are all-natural, gluten-free, dye-free, salt-free, sugar-free and without preservatives. Langer's dog treats are made with peanut butter, 2 percent milk, soy and wheat and are tested by Langer himself.
Langer said he and his wife get their dogs from animal shelters and were interested in baking organic dog treats after they lost their boxer to a tumor caused by red dye #5.
"We don't want to end up hurting our dogs after we rescue them," he said.
K&B offers over 18 different flavors of dog treats and also has cat treats as well even though Langer, himself, is not a fan of felines.
"Seventy percent of cats eat the treats, but the other 30 percent would rather do their own shopping," he said.
Langer lives with his wife and their four dogs in Cedar Bluff.
