In 2002, the one and only Lee Gardner was Arts Editor at City Paper in Baltimore, and several Baltimore films were being screened at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Durham, NC. So he went and covered it. And we thought it would be sly to make a mini-doc about being covered up in documentaries.

Mostly, what I learned is that carrying a camera around a documentary film festival is like wearing green scrubs around the ER. You can do whatever you want and people will smile and get out of your way.
