Knoxville is exemplary at these kinds of days. You know the ones I'm talking about. The ones that have just the right amount of sunshine with pastry-puff clouds and just a hint of a breeze. When the fountains in World's Fair Park call for you to jump in them even though you're well past the age when this was appropriate. It's these days that make you want to take up outdoor photography and abandon the office even though you're allergic to everything that has chloroplasts and burn with the proficiency of an Icelandic albino.
But back to the grind we must go so here are some alleviations to it all with a look at the Mosts and the events.

Metropulse' 2009 restaurant guide is still percolating but that hasn't stopped users from commenting on the restaurants they visit, like hallahart, who shared his love for Holy Land Market.

"Young-Williams Animal Center Sees Increase in Dogs, Cats" by Rose Kennedy
The Young-Williams Animal Center's Spay Shuttle has spayed or neutered 15,000 Knox County pets--without charge to the owners--since 2007. The number of happy reunions between lost pets and anxious owners has also been on the upswing since 2003, growing from 760 that year to 1,318 in 2008.
Event spotlights: Shooter Jennings with 1220
(Hey guess what? He's coming this week to Sundown. And it's free....)
Shooter Jennings has maintained a difficult balance so far, copping just enough of his father's outlaw image to make him seem like a rebel without pissing off the Nashville establishment too much. His 2005 debut, after all, was called Put the "O" Back in Country--a not-too-subtle reference to country music's perceived drift away from its roots--but it was a hit, even among country music fans.
