We've got a couple of new reader polls underway that you may want to participate in:
First, Movies on Market Square is coming back (starting Sept. 11), and once again you get to vote on which titles are screened. Just go to our handy voting page and select your top six favorites from the list. (Keep in mind these are family-friendly movies... like, um, Billy Jack.) I urge you all to vote for Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit!
Second, we just launched our Metro Pulse Bartender Awards in the current "Drinking Issue." This goes beyond our Best Bartender category in the Best of Knoxville (here's to you, Jeff White!), and into such realms as who puts on the best show or who you want to confide to the most. (We did have a "Heavy Hand" category for who pours the stiffest drinks, but it was pointed out to us that the winner might actually get fired.)
