Just a little addendum to Charle's post on Brian's Blog and his/its claim that he/they never wrote a positive post about Scott Frith:
site:brianhornback.blogspot.com + Frith
The number-one return would be a post entitled, "Brian's Blog: Congratulations to Scott Frith." Mysteriously, if you were to click on the link, you'd arrive at a "Page not found" message.
But there's a dandy little feature on Google that allows you to view cached versions of recently deleted Web pages. Let's click it now, real fast!
What do you see? Why, a Brian's Blog post from Dec. 14, 2005 with authorship listed as "posted by Brian Hornback @ 7:30 PM." And the post has some very positive things to say about Mr. Frith.
Can this possibly be so, despite Brian's Blog's complete memory (and page) loss of this post? Or has the Google corporation conspired with Metro Pulse to create a diabolical hoax?!!!
Now, if the cache has expired by the time you read this, I also took the courtesy of making a screen grab. Enjoy!
"Brian's Blog is perplexed by the four previous paragraphs, a total work of fiction. A search of Scott Frith's name on Brian's Blog does not turn up a post dating back to 2005."Now, if you were to, say, make the following search on Google:
site:brianhornback.blogspot.com + Frith
