Town Hall Meeting: It Should Be a Corker

While there promises to be a health-care protest and counter-protest this weekend downtown, as noted at KnoxViews, it looks like we're also getting a genuine town hall meeting on the issue. 

"U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) will hold a town hall meeting in Loudon on Wednesday, September 2 to speak with citizens and community leaders about health care reform and the economic challenges facing our state and country.  The event is open to the public."

Corker to Hold Town Hall Meeting in Loudon County on Wednesday, September 2


WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) will hold a town hall meeting in Loudon on Wednesday, September 2 to speak with citizens and community leaders about health care reform and the economic challenges facing our state and country.  The event is open to the public.
 
During the Senate's August recess, Corker is visiting 30 counties and holding 23 town hall meetings across the state to listen to his constituents' concerns and provide an update on his work in Tennessee and Washington on their behalf.
