The Daily Pulse:

Rep. Stacey Campfield, El Luchador

The News Sentinel's front page today carries the bizarre story of Stacey Campfield's ejection from the UT-South Carolina game Halloween night.

Apparently police pulled Campfield aside because he was wearing a luchador mask, a la Jack Black, and this upset two girls, who complained that THEY weren't allowed to wear THEIR masks.

Campfield removed the mask, and left police but did not return to his seat. Police pursued him to clarify that he could return but say he acted strangely and was uncooperative.

According to the report, he kept asking, "Is it illegal to walk around?" It was then discovered he had been sitting in the wrong seat, and it seems the sum of these actions led to the police escorting him from the game. No charges were filed.

His Republican opponent for Sen. Tim Burchett's soon-to-be vacated seat, Ron Leadbetter, said he wasn't surprised by Campfield's actions.

Are you? And does this help or hurt Campfield's chances in the senate race?
