Frank here. So after my curmudgeonly post Wednesday about hating the Macy's Day Parade, I'm moved to say I'm thankful for: that I didn't have to go out late last night/early this morning to cover Black Friday.
The idea of waiting in line, in the cold, for hours to get a few measly quotes from people who are obviously deranged, then spin them into some kind of broader message about the down economy and wrap it up with how important this is for retailers...well, I'd rather have the swine flu.
So thanks, Metro Pulse, for not being that kind of paper.

Wal*Mart sold out of the cheap DS Lites by the time I got there. Bastards.
